What VendStand is

VendStand is a platform that gives independent vendors a branded storefront and lets customers browse, order from, and message those vendors directly. VendStand does not own, stock, or sell any of the products or menu items listed here -- each store is run by the vendor who created it, and they're responsible for what they list and sell.

Accounts

A vendor account is created through the signup flow and belongs to one owner. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. Vendor type (shop or restaurant) is fixed at signup, since it determines the tools your dashboard gives you.

If you're a vendor

List only what you can actually fulfil, keep stock counts and prices honest, and arrange delivery or pickup and payment collection the same way you would selling anywhere else -- VendStand doesn't handle any of that for you. You're responsible for complying with whatever laws apply to what you're selling. We may suspend or remove a store that violates these terms, misrepresents what it sells, or is used for fraud or abuse.

If you're a customer

Give accurate order and contact details -- a vendor can only fulfil what you actually told them. Payment and delivery arrangements are between you and the vendor directly; see "Payments" below for what that means.

Payments

VendStand does not process payments, hold funds, or act as an escrow between customer and vendor. No commission is taken because no money passes through the platform at all -- you pay the vendor directly, however you already would. Payment disputes are between you and the vendor; VendStand isn't a party to that transaction and can't reverse or guarantee it.

Reviews

Only a customer whose order was marked delivered can leave a review, and only for the specific product they ordered -- reviews aren't open to anyone who didn't buy. We may remove a review that violates these terms or was left in bad faith.

Content you provide

Vendors keep ownership of their store name, descriptions, and photos. By listing them on VendStand, you give us permission to display them on your storefront and anywhere else on the platform a listing would normally appear (search, the marketplace directory, and so on).

Prohibited use

Don't use VendStand to list anything illegal, to defraud a customer or vendor, to abuse the messaging or review systems, or to attempt to access another account or store you don't own. Violating this can result in suspension or removal of your account at our discretion.

Pricing

Selling on VendStand is currently free — no commission, listing fee, or monthly fee. That's the position today, not a permanent commitment; if it changes, the new terms will be published on the pricing page before they apply to anyone.

Disclaimers

VendStand is provided as-is. We don't guarantee a vendor's stock, delivery times, or product quality -- those are between you and the vendor. We aren't liable for losses arising from a transaction between a customer and a vendor, to the fullest extent the law allows.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change materially, we'll update the date below and make a reasonable effort to let vendors know before the change applies to them.
